Tommy

En route from Marco's, we stopped off to visit some old friends in New Haven - David, Cindy and Tommy, whom I used to dog sit. After some initial hesitation, Dominic and Tommy seemed quite taken with each other.

Marco's Birthday Party

After a hot afternoon of eating cake, of course it was only natural for the boys to want to splash around a bit. (Except that the birthday boy was not so excited by this idea, so Dominic ended up splashing in Marco's green frog pool by himself!)

We went up to visit Cousin Marco, Aunt Heidi and Uncle Dilip on a very hot weekend in July to celebrate Marco's first birthday; a weekend in which pants were optional (for the under-2 set at any rate!)

When we were upstate for the Fourth of July, we visited a local stable (along with Cousin Zoe) and Dominic met his first very friendly pony (the white one in this picture.) As you can see, he wasn't quite sure what to make of this animal that clearly wasn't a doggie:
