Blueberries...

Even though so many things are changing for Dominic these days (he's learning how to walk and talk and feed himself and he recognizes letters and numbers), his love for blueberries is undiminished.  (The amount of time spent cleaning him up after the blueberries, however, has grown longer.)

Drying rack ...

For some reason, Dominic is obsessed with the clips that hold our laundry drying-rack together.  

We have a toddler!

Although he started "cruising" around apartment at around 11 months, Dominic decided that he didn't feel like going in a straight line until sometime after he reached sixteen months.  But since the beginning of March, he's been steadily gaining in confidence and balance and although he still prefers to crawl if he really wants to get somewhere in a hurry, he is now officially a toddler.

Fine dining

Dominic has traded in his old standalone high-chair for one that pulls up to the table.  He seems to be quite at ease.  (We also have had to discontinue the candlelit dinners he was enjoying previously, because now he can dive across the table to experience the candles at extremely close range!)

A big welcome to Inez Franziska Melendez Mueller, born to Aunt Rita and Uncle Thomas on March 13th!  We can't wait to see her in person.
